When I was a developer, I used to get curious about, how someone out there convincing people to try what we have built or developed. And, always used to underestimated the work marketers do.

But, life is uncertain, no one knows where you or I will be in the next moment or what’s going to happen. And, within that uncertain moment of life, I took interest in diving into marketing and here I am writing this story.

As a developer, I used to think there is a problem and I can build the solution for it and once it will be launched, the world will start making it their part of life.

But, the marketer inside me, thinks, if there is a problem you know exist, you have to tell people that there is a problem in your life that needs to be solved and once they realise there is actually a problem, start building the MVP(Minimal Viable Product) and let them try.

The developer inside me say, how can someone say no to the product I have to build? At the same place, the marketer inside me say, why will someone take interest in try it out?

There is a neverending war going on with logical and emotional thinking in which both are winners at their own battleground.

Developers think, if there is a problem, I can solve that by binding them within certain conditions. But, marketers think, if there is a problem and it’s the solution, I have to come up with ways to get it in front of those who are really facing the problem and convince them to try and buy it.

As a marketer, I think how can fixing bug take so much time that can’t be determined and as a developer, I used to think, Is there really marketers do something apart from throwing big-big words in the open air?

You will never see developers never appreciating marketers work until they see the numbers of people coming and trying.

You will never see marketers appreciating developers work until they came across customers saying good words about products or particular functionality.

Coming from a developer background, it helps you a lot marketing something in which technology is involved because there is a large number of population that still don’t know ABC of technology and that’s when helping them, guiding them about tech in layman’s language is a great help in building trust and capturing their mind space.

Marketers are storytellers who welcome individuals from different corners of the world to try something developer have build by packaging them with a story that people will connect with.

If there wouldn’t be anyone who will get the product in front of the world and welcome them to share their criticism then it will be just another project that will stay somewhere in your system that no one will ever know about.

If there wouldn’t be anyone who will convert the idea into the product then it will just be another idea that no one will get to see ever.

If you are the one who can convert the idea into a product and start getting it in front of the world to try it out then you will be unstoppable.
