Don’t go after best companies, go after best bosses.

There are millions of companies in the world and every one of them is the best. But, when it comes to deciding which company you should join, how do you decide that?

Most of the time I have seen people go with the companies which are paying high, there isn’t anything good or bad about this decision.

But, things get messed up when they start complaining about the organization and start shitting about their culture just because of one person, their team lead/boss.

So, why not add one more filter to your decision and ask about the person under which you will be working.

It’s been around 3 years to my graduation and luckily I have got to work with a few amazing leaders I have ever known personally.

Why am I saying they are amazing leaders? Because they treated me well? Or because they paid me good money?

No, those are bonuses when you work with those kinds of leaders.

When you work with a right boss,

  • They will show you the right path,
  • They will allow you to make mistakes and help you fix them,
  • They will show your pain points,
  • They will help you grow with them,
  • They will show you the right way to channelize your time and energy,
  • They will help you discover interesting books, movies, music, places, and people.

When you choose to go after good bosses, good money will follow you from behind.

Good bosses don’t show you the shortcuts, they make hard things look easy and simple.

Good bosses will never interrupt you from working hard, but they will definitely look after where your hard work is going.

So, next time you are planning to switch, do think about it.

See you in the next blog :)
